Cult Wine
Cult Wine
Cult Wines...what does it mean to be considered a cult wine? In its simplest definition, these are wines that have a devout following who are willing to consume all of the available quantity at any price. This extremely high demand forces such wines into reclusion. With no need for advertising or marketing of any sort, it is rare that anyone outside the small group (the cult) will ever hear of it, and the more that do only increases its sacristy. As for the Broader definition; these can be as small as one word such as La Tache or Screaming Eagle, Romanee Conti, Caymus Special Scelect, Grance Family "Blank" Chateau Haut Brion. Or a long winded wine write up with a high 90 point score attached to it. In essence this page show cases hard to find exceptional handmade wines that have almost no availability. So get'em while they are here.

Dyer Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
750ml Wine United States
Dyer Cabernet Sauvignon Wine 2003, Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley, California is A WINEMASTERS DESTINATION WINE! "Our 2003 Dyer Vineyard Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon remains in the same stylistic groove we have maintained since 1996- we favor a restrained, balanced style that reflects pride of place rather than the latest winemaking fad. Recently we were told our wines seem rather European... we took that as a compliment. The blend is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. After 20 months in barrel, the wine was bottled in August, 2005. With one year of bottle age, the wine is open and accessible. The wine will age, but there is no need to wait. Our notes read: ?intense, focused aromas of black cherry and licorice. Leam and structured on the palate, with supple tannins."
