"Our 2003 Dyer Vineyard Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon remains in the same stylistic groove we have maintained since 1996- we favor a restrained, balanced style that reflects pride of place rather than the latest winemaking fad. Recently we were told our wines seem rather European... we took that as a compliment. The blend is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. After 20 months in barrel, the wine was bottled in August, 2005. With one year of bottle age, the wine is open and accessible. The wine will age, but there is no need to wait. Our notes read: ?intense, focused aromas of black cherry and licorice. Leam and structured on the palate, with supple tannins."
